What the evaluation actually returns for a hectare. Ten cells covering the range of cases. Select one to see its four class codes, every element behind each of them, and how the result is read.
Moisture deficit and growing period have been moved out of capability and into suitability. Capability here has 17 land qualities, not 19, and the study has 64 assessed elements, not 66.
The reason is that both are relational — a deficit is a deficit of something, and a growing period is long enough for something. Neither means anything until a crop is named. Thermal regime and radiation stay in capability because they are absolute site measurements, true of the location whatever is planted.
Two consequences are visible below. Capability no longer depends on the production system, so no element is marked does not apply and no applicability matrix is needed to make the classes meaningful. And growing period is now the thermally possible season, not the rainfed one — measured in the 280 to 365 day range rather than zero, which is what it reads under rainfall alone across almost the whole Kingdom.
This is a methodological revision awaiting review. The delivered modules state 19 land qualities and 66 elements.
